The Town of Banner Elk would like to inform citizens that you may notice work being performed near or around your water meter by a third-party contractor ( Palmetto Underground Solutions). This work is being conducted as part of an effort to identify and document the material of existing water service lines. Contractors may need to access the area around your water meter to complete this process. This is routine work being performed on behalf of the Town and is not an indication of a problem with your water service. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to gather this important information for the Town of Banner Elk.
